Samplify for Windows Release 2.6 is a compression analysis tool which allows the system architect to experiment with all of Samplify Prism's compression modes on real data captured from his/her system. Samplify for Windows supports all of modes of the Samplify Prism™ compression engine including Veribit™ lossless, RateTrak™, NoiseTrak™, and Optibit™ modes.
Samplify for Windows displays input and output (compressed) file sizes and other relevant compression results, including compression ratio, dynamic range, noise floor and distortion levels, and a one-click rate-distortion curve.
Optimized for compressing sampled data, Samplify for Windows runs orders of magnitude faster than WinZip and similar algorithms. With Samplify for Windows, the system architect will be able to determine exactly how his/her signals will compress using Samplify Prism™ for FPGA.
New in Release 2.6:
• Support for user-specified quantization for input data files - Now users can specify the original quantization of their data to get compression results which will exactly match hardware implementation with Samplify for FPGA
• Support for large files - GUI-free mode to enable compressing large data files in excess of 100 MB.

Samplify for Windows Embedded Edition extends the benefits of compression to include the entire hardware signal chain including storage and backplane interfaces.
Samplify for Windows is delivered as a Windows DLL and provides an application programming interface (API) for calling compress and decompress functions. All of the compression modes of Samplify for Windows, including Veribit™ lossless, RateTrak™, NoiseTrak™, and Optibit™ modes, are fully supported via the API.
