Daryl Nees, VP of Business Development
Daryl Nees joins Samplify Systems with over 20 years experience in various marketing, applications engineering, and sales management roles with high performance linear and mixed-signal semiconductor firms. At Linear Technology Corporation, Mr. Nees managed global product marketing activities for LTCs operational amplifiers, moving on to direct the global activities of LTC's field applications engineering team. As Corporate Accounts Technical Sales Manager with Burr-Brown Corporation, Mr. Nees defined and secured significant revenue for high speed pipeline, high resolution SAR and sigma-delta ADCs and DACs, while also driving Burr-Brown's entry into the precision amplifier and dc/dc power conversion markets, up until its $7.7B acquisition by Texas Instruments in 2000. As Global Director of Field Applications Engineering at Sipex Corporation, Mr. Nees built and directed the worldwide FAE team, leading the transformation of Sipex's revenue mix toward higher profit high performance switching dc/dc products. The design win pipeline of the dc/dc products enabled Sipex to recover lost market capitalization, and led to the acquisition by Exar in 2007, where Nees most recently served as Director of Factory Applications Engineering. Mr. Nees holds a BSEE from Southern Methodist University.
